March 2009 - EPI Systems Systems Integration based in Pawling, N.Y. received the coveted TechHome Integrator of the Year Award during the annual Mark of Excellence Awards program at the EHX Spring. EPI, which is a perennial member of the CE Pro 100, offers full-service integration including A/V, security and electrical. The company operates under the slogan "Technology Lifestyles Made Simple." Company principals Michael Curtin and John Predham were on hand to receive the award. In presenting the award, CE Pro's Julie Jacobson noted EPI's successful expansion into five markets and the company's 24/7 service policy. She also praised the company for "creating some of the best user interfaces on the planet."
The Elite, The Excellent, The Influential TECHHOME INTEGRATOR OF THE YEAR. This award recognizes the best systems integrator company in our industry. The company receiving this award exhibits outstanding business success and comprehensive technical skills, shows exceptional quality in their professional installations, and is an example of leadership within their community and/or industry.
March 2009 - EPI won Electronic House's Silver Home Of The Year Award for 2009 for a recently completed penthouse apartment in Manhattan. Check out our portfolio section to see images of our award winning project.
January 2009 - EPI is a finalist for CE Pro's Mark of Excellence Awards. The winners will be officially annouced at CEA TechHome Division's Mark of Excellence Awards dinner Friday, March 13, 2009 at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Florida.
December 2008 - One of EPI's jobs is featured in the December issue of Electronic House Home Electronic Ideas. Features include Lutron lighting and Crestron control in a Bonus Room, Office, Master Bedroom and Card Room. The system included whole house audio distribution allowing the resident to control several audio sources from anywhere in the house including the pool house. Pick one up at your local magazine stand to see this and other ideas on integrating technology into your home or office.
November 2008 - EPI Managing Partners Michael Curtin and John W. Predham accepted CE Pro's Best Practices Award for Production/ Installation Management at the CE Pro Integrators Summit.
October - Kaleidescape
Kaleidescape is honored to be ranked No. 415 on the 2008 Inc. 500 list of America's fastest-growing private companies. Kaleidescape was also ranked No. 14 among the 50 fastest-growing private companies in California's Silicon Valley by the Silicon Valley / San Jose Business Journal. These rankings are based on Kaleidescape's 747% sales growth from 2004 to 2007, and 206% sales growth from 2005 to 2007. Kaleidescape's strong sales performance has resulted in eleven consecutive quarters of profitability.
September 2008 - CE Pro 100 Integrators Summit
EPI was ranked # 27 in CE Pro's Top 100 Highest Revenue Integrators for 2007. This year will be the First Annual CE Pro 100 Integrators Summit which will host top executives from CE Pro 100-level custom electronics integration companies along with top executives from large electrical contracting, security installation and IT systems integration firms moving aggressively into the custom electronics space. Michael Curtin and John W. Predham, managing partners of EPI will attend the summit this year. The summit is a great place for professional integrators to build partnerships, knowledge and network. Presentations will be made on subjects including; Maximizing Valuation of Custom Integration Businesses, State of the Housing Market, New Technologies, New Products, New Markets and New Opportunities.
August 2008 - EPI recently launched a new website with more information and features we offer including commercial services and Full Swing Golf. Clients can browse and find out more about our services and get a better idea of what they can do to make their homes or offices GREEN and manageable.
